We found that the provider is blocking the file_get_contents. The new module version (1.0.1) tries to log that situation if the whole Newsletter logging system is active at least at the “error” level.
Probably I need to change the function with the CURL, but probably a provider that blocks the file_get_contents for http resource is blocking the curl library as well.
