UTF8 Character problem in excerpts

Hi, I’ve just updated the plugin and now, it creates a new error.

In the email sent to newsletter subscribers, the posts excerpts show broken utf8 characters.

There is no problem in the titles.
My DB is in UTF-8.
It worked perfectly well before the update.
