Remove the reports extension from wp-content/plugins folder, that seems to be the problem: on some blogs the update process leaves Newsletter not active.
It’s uncommon but it happens. After the update is completed and the plugin reactivate, reinstall the reports (you can simple rename the reports folder to something different and then name it back to the original name).
Sorry for this problem, it never happened before. I even released an updated version of the Newsletter Reports extension that fix the problem.
