Thank you Stefano. I think adding the capability of leaving the bounce messages on the email server is an excellent step. Then, you can tell customers they can sort through emails for phrases such as “mailbox full” where there may be signs of life.

The list of the bounced addresses (no address is actually deleted from the database) can be retrieved or from the subscribers management panel, listing for the bounced status, or using the export function which exports all subscriber with their status (the status “B” is the bounced status).
I’ll avoid deleting bounce addresses from the live list and try to do what you describe. Then, in the next run, leaving bounces in Webmail, I can do such sorting and compare with this run. It’s all useful then. Thanks much.
