Thanks, Stefan. I guess I’ll try dividing the daily max by 24 hours and put that number (or a little less) in Mailer’s Max emails per hour field.

I did notice that Mailer did not seem to be sending at the set rate (or at all) while the plugin screen was closed, but when I logged into Dashboard and had the plugin Working Status screen open, the Sent increases, and the Out decreases seemed to pretty much correspond with the set rate. Am I imagining this correlation between the effectiveness of Mailer and the Working Status screen being open?

I like a lot of things about Subscribe2. However, if you think there are problems with the way Subscribe2 interacts with Mailer, can you suggest a comparable plugin to Subscribe2 that will better enable me take advantage of Mailer’s queuing and throttling functions?

Finally, I notice that when I confirmed my subscription this morning, Mailer put two zip files on my site. They are visible in my media library. What’s that about?

Thanks,

Alan

P.S. In appreciation of your plugin, I made a small donation via PayPal
